To design and develop an new purpose built factory and warehouse for the manufacture of hardwood and UPVC double glazed windows. Manage project from start to completion.

OUR ROLE

We undertook the development from its very inception to total completion. We carried out preliminary scheme designs for the purpose of both local authority planning requirements as well as equipment layout design for new and re-located machinery.

The proposals also included a new mezzanine floor for warehouse/storage purposes and it was part of our remit to liaise closely with the consulting engineers to develop a practical as well as economical solution to the design.

Early and wide ranging consultations with the local authority planning department as well as other statutory bodies lead to a successful problem free planning application and approval.

Building Regulations were quickly obtained with all drawings, details, specifications and documents being used to seek the lowest tender by approved contractors.

We were invited to oversee the works as part of our Project Management Services and the project was duly completed on time and within budget.
